Hey All!

What brands of Running/Walking Shoes is everyone putting on their feet to reach those daily steps goals?!

I personally have switched to Brooks. I admit, they're a bit more pricey than some of the others (I think mine are like $90) but I have a really narrow foot and a high arch. I also purchase a stiff arch support and put in there, and the support lasts forever it seems like. I purchased a new pair of Brooks this fall because I had used my other ones for all the year before for yardwork and they got kinda yucky... otherwise, they're still fine to wear. I absolutely LOVE mine and it really makes a difference when I'm walking! It really balances out my gate.

Well, I get my steps barefoot, sneakers from LLBean, or any sneakers I have which is Adidas or New balance.

Have a great day!:happy

You girls think you buy pricey shoes? I tried a pair of asics a few years back... sigh... and now I can't run or go walking long distances in anything else. I have a narrow foot and size 11 in ladies so sometimes have to get mens shoes, which are wider... sigh... anywho, my last pair of ladies asics ran me $200. Mind you, they might be cheaper for you fine folks in the US. I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and bought my pair of DC skater shoes for $40 that are selling for $180 here in Alberta. Not only do they fit well and cushion well, but they wear and last very well.

I like Asics and Brooks. Asics are the best if you're looking for alot of cushion. I could not believe the difference until I actually ran in them.

I had to by our little boy Asics...... yeow!!!
I was shocked at the price! But... his foot was soooo hard to fit and it's helped him a lot. After his brain tumor surgery and all in 2005, his body is all kinda resetting still so I want to make sure everything develops properly... especially his feet! He's not a knock-around type kid anyway, so his stuff lasts and lasts.
