I like taking the albacore tuna, baby carrots, onion, celery and LITERALLY a drop of olive oil and putting it all into my food processor until it is all finely chopped. There is no need for mayonaise (or even the oil really) because the extra veggies give it extra flavor and moisture. I usually eat it on wheat wraps or when I am being really bad, french bread. You just have to play with how much of each veggie you like until you get it to your own specs!

Using it is totally fine with me. I have tons more recipes that I use I just have to have the time to sit down and put them on here!.. I am glad you like this one its one of my faves.

French Tuna Salad
Low Carbohydrate Recipe
Ingredients:
Romaine lettuce leaf
10 ounces frozen French-style green beans, thawed and drained
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup fat-free Italian dressing
1 pound white tuna in water, drained
4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced

Yield: 6 Servings


Directions:
Line individual salad plates with romaine lettuce leaves. Combine all remaining ingredients, except the eggs, and place on the lettuce leaves. Garnish with egg slices to serve.

Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 6 only.
